I myself was a member until they closed my account! Why did they? Well I was not going to part with £20 for sale that never transpired. I was trying to sell a computer in 2006, and a Kosavan won the bid and had no intention of paying for it! He was out to scam me. This resulted with strong words passing back and forth in our emails, and after a while I decided to play with him. I told him I would give him my bank details = 666999666999 and a phone number to ring me. The number given was my local police station. This infuriated him and he threatened to bash me! This lead him to leave a bad feedback, ' I spat in his face! ' My feedback was, ' If I could spit from Reigate to London, I would be in the Guinness book of records! '

I complained to eBay about this, explaining he was a fraudster, no feedbacks, no sales! This went on deaf ears, hence my account failed to function properly, meaning I could not SELL as I still owed £20 for a sale that never happened! They kept sending emails for nearly 2 years demanding £20. I kept sending emails back telling them to ' Fu*K off ' because I knew nobody was reading them! Robotized emails could not sort out my dilemma. Eventually I got a real person emailing me. I asked him what the £20 was for, after giving him the item ref number that failed to sell! This will amuse you, he replied that eBay had made the mistake!

I used them for one item after they had rectified my account, but they then tried to force me to use Paypal, so I took it off, and sold it on eBid!

Hello Mr eBay Sucker,

Thanks for your email about your listing that was withdrawn from eBay.
To help you as quickly as possible we're sending you a response
explaining why and what you can do next.

Your listing breached our policy on accepted payments, so we removed it
from the site and credited all the fees back.

How did your listing breach the policy?

We have some rules about the payment methods that eBay sellers can offer
on their listings. All sellers listing on eBay.co.uk must accept PayPal,
with the exception of certain categories. A number of payment methods
aren't allowed because they don't offer a high enough level of
protection.

Your listing had information in the item description that indicated you
didn't want your buyers to use a particular payment method. If you state
in the 'Payment Details' section of your listing that you accept a
payment method, you're not allowed to discourage buyers from using it.

This policy also applies to PayPal payments. So, for example, you're not
allowed to accept PayPal on your listing, but then write "no PayPal
eCheques" in the item description.

You can read our full Accepted Payments policy here:

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/accepted-payments-policy.html

How to relist your item:

Please read our Accepted Payments policy thoroughly and edit your
listing accordingly. Here's how:

1. Go to My eBay > Unsold Items and click 'Relist' next to the item.
2. Click 'Edit listing' and make the changes needed for our policy.
3. Review your listing and submit it when you're ready.

I don't use eBay anymore, they own Paypal and that is why THEY WANT YOU TO USE IT!

Look on the internet, and you will find so many articles on eBay, being loathed for the way they now run it. Now what do I say on the matter? '' You the Joe public, do not use them anymore! Use eBid, it is a lot cheaper. I know it does not get the same audience, but that's because of you eBayers out there! Change over then you will see eBid getting stronger day after day.''

Help yourselves, stop using eBay, or is it ePay?
